What was a quiet weekend

This last weekend was supposed to be a quite weekend, which I am informed that any weekend that I am involved wouldn't be quite and I wouldn't know how to have a quite weekend.

Saturday we were up and out of here by about 8am, we headed over to Forest Lake to collect our cargo barrier I purchased on eBay for a whole $5, now we just need to find the bolts, that's just a quick call to Ford though.
So this isn't the same as mine but it's close enough. After picking this up we headed over to Browns Plains Library were they had a book sale with nothing over $1, unfortunately there weren't as many books as I would have liked, but that's OK because we did gather some books and the kids were happy.

After this trip we then headed over to Yatla to True Medicine where I gather some of my health natural tablets. Which by the way I think they are starting to work. Dagmar who owns True Medicine is wonderful she assessed the blood tests I had and then listen to my story, she worked everything out and I am only having to take a couple of tablets a day for a while. I will be seeing her again late next month.

By this time it was about 11:30am morning gone already, it's amazing how fast a weekend goes. We arrived home and then called Blake's half sister Karen, which we went to Keperra Qld to visit with her and other family members. It was a lovely lunch. We left there around 3:30pm, when we arrived home we started preparing for Sunday down the coast.

Waking early and arriving down at the Gold Coast on Sunday was great, only problem is that it was overcast. The waves weren't very good for surfing which was a downer, however it is always nice to be down at the beach.
Who wouldn't want to be down the Coast and able to walk along that beach. Paige had her nippers on. She loved it yet again. Blake went and had a meeting with an owner of an accounting practice and Blake said he liked her and the practice sounds good, however $1 for $1 is too much when she isn't going to stay on in any capacity to do a hand over. We will keep thinking about it and running the figure to come up with something we think would be a good offer. She also has the property for sale however being the Gold Coast and a great location for the business it is out of our price range.

After that was all said and done we ventured off to another park to have our Sunday cook up. Eggs, snags etc etc along with some fresh fruit from Yuen's Fruit Market. This took us then to heading home with full bellies. By the time we arrived home Paige had a temp of 39 degrees. She seems to be better today, still a little on the high side but thats the way things go. Out of the blew we ended up with an old family friend and his partner here along with my Mum and Dad for a BBQ dinner. Great night a little late for a school night but thats the way things flow around here.
