Monday
So I am just about finished the book called "Everything is Negotiable" by Gavin Kennedy. It's not a bad book, one that I would tell people to read that have no idea about this type of thing. For me I am not too bad at being at the negotiation table, however I am sure that I can improve. Some of our client should really read this book. It is going on the business building list. http://www.dasolutions.com.au/
OK so some of the things that are in this book that I love "breach of fiduciary trust" it's a legal term, great one to know though. Then apparently your a duck if when selling something you use the wording ONO. When negotiating the best word you can use is "if"
So while I am sitting up here reading and blogging Blake is working out. I wish I was well enough to be out there working out as well. Oh well I am sure I will be fine by tomorrow, then Blake and I might even be able to go for a ride. Mind you if he's not working out then he's on the computer maybe doing work at this stupid hour.
Right so I have still been reading, feeling heaps better this evening. I haven't had a smoke in nearly 48 hours and you know what, I have just had smoke from someone smoking drift in my window and it really stinks. So my aim and I know I am going to need support and I will need to be strong is to not have another one again. Keep your fingers crossed for me.
So that's enough for today I will add to this post tomorrow. Have a great night
Tuesday
So I was woken this morning by my concerned Mum, which is fine she knows that I would normally have my phone on silent at night and until I decide that I want phone calls. Not sure why it wasn't, forgot I suppose. Anyways because she call at least she is picking Blake up after dropping the car off to be fixed. I am still sick, better than Monday not by much but far better than what I was like on Sunday.
I give the book I was reading yesterday 2 and 1/2 stars out of 5. I am now reading a book by Sandra Brown called "Fat Tuesday" I'm only a couple of chapters in and so far so good. It seems to be more of a crime mystery at the min. I don't read blurbs as I find they ruin the book for me.
So my friend Alice who is currently in Japan and has been for about 6 months is coming home soon. I am excited about that, her parents just arrived there yesterday so that should be a wonderful experience.
So I have had car troubles I own a Ford now and I know I have always loved Toyota's and that's what I would have stuck with we all know what F.O.R.D stand for and it's so dam true :( But on the bright side the car went to the mechanics today (Bob from Trade Mech at Logan Village, Qld) he has found the problem that the gas guy couldn't find. Oh our car runs on gas. Bob actually tested things to check what else has gone or going. So the plugs and coil need replacing and then it is going to have to go off to another gas guy not the one we originally took it to because he just wanted to charge a heap more than required and just replace stuff not even test to see whats actually wrong with the car. So the gas when stopped doesn't stop apparently. Bob is going to recommend someone so that's great.
Has anyone heard of Jamie McIntyre
Now I know this must be a silly question for some but he is know by many from what I can gather. How did he become know and what does he do. He has a book out that I thought I might read soon.
Oh yer and I still haven't had a smoke this is the third day.
So Paige and Byron have gone off to swimming lessons (Laurie Lawrence swim school). Blake has taken them which is great because it's been a long time since he has taken them. I am looking forward to hearing about their fun. On a work front I am going to need to get really stuck into it once I am better, tomorrow I am sure I will be up and about and fine, a couple of Blood tests by the doctor and all shall be fine.
Some catch up on coding from the last couple of months, back tracking of another clients accounts to check if they are correct or not. Working out another clients bank structure and business budget. That should get me going and keep me going for the rest of the week. One thing I do love about Dynamic accounting Solutions is the fact that we offer such a wide variety of solutions for a business as well as business building. Just wait we have a couple of interesting things coming up soon. That's the other thing that I need to do is organise a meeting with out website developer to fix my half hack job of a web page.
Dynamic Accounting Solutions doesn't have your normal boring accountants this is some of the fun things Blake gets to do. He's going to see a client and half the meeting is going to be while they are on a surfboard, some people have the life.
